Gold and Deep Red Murano Glass Reversible Heart Pendant

Owning a piece of Murano glass jewelry is owning a treasured jewel.  It owes its particular beauty to a very complicated and skillful process of glass making which was rediscovered by the glassmakers of Murano in the Middle Ages.    The front of this heart design features traces of deep red and gold beneath its clear crystal surface. The reverse side is opaque reddish brown.  Polished sterling silver wraps around the heart in a freeform design to top off this truly unique piece of jewelry.   No two pieces are alike.
